General information

The MobyLab Summer School is dedicated to students interested in gaining a thorough understanding of software development in various domains. As such, it proposes three separate tracks, each one covering an important part of building and deploying production-ready applications.

Firstly, the mobile track presents basic Android programming concepts through the implementation of various applications using Java, starting from the classic Hello World to complex apps that take advantage of databases, task planning, network connections, and other interesting aspects.

The second track of the MobyLab Summer School teaches students to build web applications using Javascript, ReactJS and CSS, touching upon subjects such as Javascript programming concepts, styling, revision control, etc. Finally, the third track is focused on DevOps, and the microservices theory, teaching students to develop a Docker-based backend using NodeJS and PostgreSQL, while also touching upon aspects such as CI/CD using Gitlab CI.
